The IBuyPower Masters IV is set to start on the 19th of January featuring several top teams from around the world. The event will take place at the Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles. With top teams such as Astralis, Fnatic, Faze Clan already confirming their participation at the event, IBuyPower Masters IV promises to be one of the last tournaments before the upcoming Major. It will provide a decent glimpse into the teams’ strengths and form before the major.
Team Complexity is the latest team to receive an invite to the event. Complexity recently made a few changes to their roster. They brought in Ricky “Rickeh” Mulholland to their roster. The Australian player who gained fame during his time on Renegades has slowly transitioned into a central role for many NA teams. He has been quick to adapt to the new environment and take a liking to several top teams in the North American scene. During this time, he has not disappointed with his individual performance which is why we are seeing him move to Complexity. He has a lot of potentials and hopefully, Complexity can help him achieve his peak.
Complexity has also announced that Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert will be standing in for the team at the event. He is one of the most well-known players in North America. A decorated player from Cloud9, N0thing has been an inspiration to an entire generation of players. As Complexity attend IBuyPower Masters IV, they stand little chance to potentially win the tournament. With top-tier teams already confirmed for the event, there is little doubt that Complexity does not stand a chance. However, it will be a learning experience for the new roster as they embrace 2019 with positive hopes.
