Ricardo “boltz” Prass will be joining Team Luminosity Gaming, the organisation announced on Twitter. The roster move comes at a time when Luminosity Gaming is already making deep runs in tournaments and has a bright future. He will replace Gustavo “yeL” Knittel on the roster. Yel was one of the longest standing members for Luminosity Gaming since they bought out the original ‘Winout’ roster in 2016.
Ricardo ‘Boltz’ Prass
Ricardo spent most of the last four months on the bench. With Tarik joining the team [ following the addition fo Stewie2k], the MiBr roster took a new turn. They wanted to become a top tier team and they believed that they could achieve it with the two Cloud9 members. However, as we all know, the actual lack of results has probably propelled the team into possible roster changes.
For over the past two years, @LG_yeL has put in continuous effort and hard work in the shaping of the team. Good luck on all your future endeavors! You'll always be family here.#LGLOYAL pic.twitter.com/b58oF9O1hB

Luminosity Gaming has had a decent past few months. They recently finished in the second place at Dreamhack Atlanta 2018. They lost to Team Vitality in the Grand finals. They have qualified for multiple top-tier tournaments and winning several regional ones as well.
The organisation burst onto the scene with much of the current MiBr roster. For a very long period of time, they were dominant and surprised their fans and the CS: GO community. The roster eventually moved to SK Gaming and Luminosity Gaming began investing in other Brazilian players.
Luminosity’s lineup now is:
- Gabriel “NEKIZ” Schenato
- Lucas “steel” Lopes
- Henrique “HEN1” Teles
- Lucas “LUCAS1” Teles
- Ricardo “boltz” Prass
The team will play with the new lineup in the Americas Minor North America closed qualifier. It will be an opportunity for the team to prove its worth and possibly become a strong team once more. With the likes of Steel, Hen1 and Lucas1 on their roster, this team has several big names. The addition of Boltz is a definite boost to the team’s firepower.
