The Developer update for Blizzard has teased a potential new update which will not only bring around the Overwatch Uprising event but also add new potential features to the game. The Overwatch Uprising event will definitely be a much-loved event by the community as they look to its release on April 10th.
However, the two Jeffs from the Overwatch Developer team came together in the latest develop an update to confirm that there will be new features being announced. This could mean more in the terms of lore, or the addition of a 
permanent game mode.
That being said, it could also be the addition of in-game features which can make the game much better for the casual player. This includes stuff like a replay system which is sorely lacking in the current game development.
