Blizzardś Overwatch League is supposed to be the next big thing in esports. Overwatch League is touted to be the players League. it will provide them with healthcare benefits and several other benefits. The Overwatch league website puts forth a base minimum salary of $50k.

They announce an official Player signing window which will stretch from August 1 till October 30 2017. Keep in mind that October 30 is just a few days before the Official Blizzcon 2017. 

The official website also lists several benefits for the Overwatch League. You can read them below :

  • Teams will sign players to one-year guaranteed contracts with the option to extend the contract for an additional year.
  • The minimum salary for players is USD $50,000 per year.
  • Teams will provide players with health insurance and a retirement savings plan.
  • Teams will distribute at least 50% of their team performance bonuses (i.e. money from winning playoffs and other League events) to their players directly.
