The Atlanta Reign is one of the eight new Overwatch League teams for Season 2. The team has announced specifics of its home matches for Season 2. In a previous announcement, the Overwatch League had confirmed that certain matches will be played in a ‘Home and Away’ Format. This would allow teams to get a taste of the League’s structure. Overwatch League officials themselves would have a first-hand experience of running the league in its entirety.
The Overwatch League has only completed a season so far. The entire first season took place in Los Angeles with all matches at the venue. However, the ultimate goal of the league is to feature home and away matches similar to many in regular sports. It will help the franchises in building their fan base. It would also be a great way to develop an economy from merchandise sales and fan engagement.

The Atlanta Reign has already announced the dates for their Home matches. The Atlanta Home matches will take place on July 6-7, 2019. The matches will take place in Atlanta and be an opportunity for their fans to engage with the team and the players.
